1. The complexity of the product.
       MIM is the flexible design of complex parts like plastic injection. Parts that need to assemble multiple parts can be designed as MIM parts, complex parts that cannot be manufactured by other technologies, and complex parts that require a variety of machining.
2. Weight and size.
       The product weight ranges from 0.1 to 250g, with 50g being the most economical weight.
       Due to the price of raw material powder, the cost of products above 100 grams may rise. Wall thicknesses of 2 to 6 mm are suitable for MIM.
3. Output.
       The larger the number, the better the cost advantage. However, considering the cost of mold and development investment, if the product volume is too small and the cost is allocated to the product, the unit price will be unacceptable.
4. Raw materials and performance.
       MIM can be widely used in stainless steel, low alloy steel, cemented carbide, high specific gravity alloy to high temperature alloy, titanium alloy, ceramic and metal matrix composite materials. In terms of performance, materials that are close to full density, difficult to cut, non-standard materials, good surface roughness and clearer structural feature details are required, and MIM technology is suitable.
